Tobii joins the VRARA Association to collaborate with industry leaders

Tobii has selected to become a member of the global VR/AR Association, as stated in the organization’s press release this week.

Eye tracking is a foundational technology for creating better devices and experiences within VR and AR, which has become apparent as leading headset providers adopt the technology at an increasing rate.

As the global eye tracking leader and a VR/AR innovation enabler, Tobii will work to drive initiatives in collaboration with VR/AR Association and other members in the community to support the rapid growth of the VR/AR industry.

The VR/AR Association (VRARA) is an international organization designed to foster collaboration between innovative companies and people in the virtual reality and augmented reality ecosystem, and includes industry leaders such as Google, Intel, HP, Sony, HTC and Pico.

The organization is developed to accelerate growth, foster research and education, help develop industry standards, connect member organizations and promote the services of member companies.
